Jeff Maggioncalda

Jeff Maggioncalda has been the CEO of Coursera since 2017. Coursera partners with world-class universities and companies, including several TechNet member companies, to upskill organizations and help students and workers build and develop skills, prepare for a career in high-demand fields, and earn a degree or professional certificate.

Previously, Maggioncalda served as the founding CEO at Financial Engines Inc., a company co-founded by economist and Nobel Prize winner William Sharpe. Maggioncalda has also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and Cornerstone Research, and serves on the Board of Directors of Silicon Valley Bank. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and English from Stanford University.
