tech at work
September 21, 2018
As the destruction mounts from Hurricane Florence's rain and flooding in the Carolinas and Virginia this week, tech companies stepped up to supply food and water, donate to relief organizations, restore communications infrastructure, and provide free transportation for evacuees, among other efforts.
Next Tuesday, September 25, TechNet will join Dell Technologies, education nonprofit MATHCOUNTS, and other tech organizations to present "Are You Smarter Than A Mathlete?" This special event is a quiz-bowl style math competition in which middle school Mathletes will be paired with Members of Congress and technology industry leaders to test their math skills in a single elimination bracket tournament.
