TechNet Adds Four New Members

Washington, D.C. — TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, announced today the addition of four new members: Elevate, FireEye, Philips Lighting, and Waymo.  With these additions, TechNet’s network now stands at 74 members.  A full list is available here.

“TechNet is pleased to welcome Elevate, FireEye, Philips Lighting, and Waymo to our organization as we look ahead to a busy fall agenda in Congress and in state legislatures across the country,” said Linda Moore, president and CEO of TechNet.  “These companies are driving innovation in fintech, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and self-driving vehicle technology.  We look forward to engaging with our new members as we continue advocating for policies that encourage economic growth and job creation.”

New members include:

  • Elevate, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, is a leading provider of responsible online credit solutions for non-prime borrowers.  Elevate has originated $4.5 billion in credit to more than 1.7 million non-prime consumers to date.  Its responsible, tech-enabled online credit solutions provide immediate relief to customers and help them build a brighter financial future.
  • FireEye, headquartered in Milpitas, California, is an intelligence-led security company.  FireEye eliminates the complexity and burden of cybersecurity for organizations struggling to prepare for, prevent, and respond to cyberattacks.  The company has over 6,000 customers across 67 countries, including more than 40 percent of the Forbes Global 2000.
  • Philips Lighting, with its North American headquarters in Somerset, NJ, is the world leader in lighting products, systems, and services.  Serving professional and consumer markets, Philips Lighting delivers innovations that unlock business value, providing rich user experiences that help improve lives.  By leveraging the Internet of Things, Philips Lighting is transforming buildings, urban areas, and homes to increase energy efficiency and make cities safer and more responsive.
  • Waymo, headquartered in Mountain View, California, is a self-driving vehicle technology company with a mission to make it safe and easy for people and things to move around.  From its beginnings as the Google self-driving car project, Waymo has been working to make our roads safer and increase mobility for the millions of people who cannot drive.
