Washington, D.C. – TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, today joined more than 150 businesses, including many TechNet member companies, across industries in a joint letter urging Congress to pass the Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan. The following statement can be attributed to TechNet President and CEO Linda Moore:

“The technology industry is prepared to invest in innovation, grow businesses, and hire workers, but we must get the pandemic under control. COVID relief is needed to aid struggling families, workers, and businesses, especially the most vulnerable populations who are at increased risk due to long-standing inequalities.

“The pandemic has underscored the need for a strong technology sector. Our member companies have powered America during the pandemic and will serve as a catalyst for our nation’s recovery. We urge Congress to quickly pass bipartisan relief to strengthen our public health and economic response to this crisis and move our country forward.”
