Gideon Lett serves as TechNet’s Vice President of Political Affairs and Strategic Partnerships. Based in San Francisco, Gideon leads political efforts nationally and works to bridge the relationship gap between technology industry executives and policymakers. Prior to his work in California, Gideon was a consultant at APCO Worldwide in the firm’s Washington, D.C., headquarters. Gideon focused his practice on issues management strategy and implementation for Fortune 50 companies and leading trade associations, working to achieve favorable business, policy, and public opinion outcomes. Gideon previously served as Director of Political Operations for the National Association of Home Builders during one of the industry’s most vibrant and dynamic periods. He led NAHB’s federal political mobilization efforts and advised many of the group’s 800 state and local associations on legislative and political strategy. Gideon also served as a senior political aide to numerous public officials, including former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, Congressman Mike Rogers (AL), former Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor, Mississippi Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, among others. Gideon studied Public Administration at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
