Servando Esparza is TechNet's Executive Director for Texas and the Southeast. Based in Austin, Servando oversees TechNet's state advocacy in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. Servando joined TechNet from Bird Rides, where he served as Senior Manager of Government Relations for the southeast region of the country. Prior to his time at Bird, Servando worked at ofo, a dockless bicycle company, as the Head of Public Policy for the Central U.S., as well as serving as the Manager of Government Affairs for the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association. He worked in the Texas Senate for eight years as a policy analyst for Texas State Senator Leticia Van de Putte (D) and legislative aide to Texas State Senator Kip Averitt (R). Servando grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University.
