The TechNet Innovation Legal Center is the voice of the innovation economy in the federal and state courts, and the broader legal community. As interest groups, state and federal lawmakers, and regulators engage in increasingly significant actions that could erode the critical legal framework that has allowed American technological advancement to flourish, the Innovation Legal Center fights to protect and promote laws and regulations that uphold the United States’s position as the world leader in innovation.

The Innovation Legal Center works to advance pro-innovation laws and regulations through:

  • Representing TechNet in lawsuits challenging unlawful regulatory actions at all levels
  • Filing amicus curiae briefs in key litigation
  • Leveraging our legal expertise and analysis for the benefit of lawmakers and regulators

The Innovation Legal Center is based in TechNet’s Washington, D.C. office, and pursues cases and amicus curiae opportunities nationwide at the state and federal level, working closely with TechNet’s policy professionals and leveraging the nation’s top lawyers as outside counsel.
