Washington, D.C. — TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, announced the promotion of Peter Chandler to Vice President for Federal Policy and Government Relations. He most recently served as Director of Federal Policy and Government Relations for TechNet. Chandler is a Capitol Hill veteran with more than 15 years of experience as the former Chief of Staff for Reps. Debbie Dingell and Mike Michaud.

“Peter has been an invaluable member of the TechNet team since he arrived in December 2018. His experience at the federal and state levels of government and campaigns have proven key to TechNet’s success in promoting the innovation economy and its positive impact on our nation. Peter’s creative, collaborative, and tenacious approach to advocacy is valued by our members, and we are confident he will make even greater contributions to our success as our new Vice President for Federal Policy and Government Relations,” said Linda Moore, President and CEO.

“When I left Capitol Hill after more than 15 years leading Member offices, I wanted a challenge that would enable me to make a difference for people across the country. I found a natural home in TechNet, where I have the opportunity each day to advocate on behalf of an industry that provides millions of jobs, improves the lives of Americans through connectivity, and values diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of immigrants. I’m honored to be promoted to Vice President for Federal Policy and Government Relations. I thank TechNet’s President and CEO, Linda Moore, and the entire TechNet team for their confidence and support and will continue to work hard to ensure the positive contributions of technology and innovation are heralded throughout the federal government,” said Peter Chandler, Vice President for Federal Policy and Government Relations.
