Washington, D.C. – TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, today issued a statement in advance of this weekend’s meeting of the U.S. – EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) in France. The following can be attributed to Carl Holshouser, SVP, TechNet:

“From Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to supply chain disruptions to the ongoing climate crisis – all issues that will be front and center during this weekend’s TTC meeting – there are many challenges facing the global economy. There is a real need for meetings like this to discuss, collaborate, and solve meaningful issues impacting the U.S. and EU.

“We support the continued open dialogue between the U.S. and EU delegations and hope both parties can make progress on common goals around privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and other transatlantic interests.”
